My very first Tokyo Cafe experience was here in this branch. It was on one weekend afternoon, perhaps my cousins and I already had too much shopping, we started looking for a place to eat. We are foodies by nature, so anything goes. We always go to the we-have-never-tried ones that's just in time when we passed by Tokyo Cafe, got embraced by its nice & neat ambiance, then decided to give it a try. Who would have thought that this became one of my/our favorite restaurants since then?

Their food consists of:
a) Pizza & Pasta -- You won't have issue if you're a vegetarian as they have non-meat dishes on their menu. Oh, I also have to share that their pasta is a bit dry :\
b) Sizzling/Steak
c) Burger
d) Rice Meal -- Loco Moco is my favorite!
e) Desserts -- So far, I have only tried their crepes and coffee jelly, and they're all good!
f) Coffee & Smoothie

I'm telling you, it's a long list to try out. :)

This is my 3rd visit here.. My 1st time was with my cousins, 2nd with some friends, and this time with another set of friends. I would not hesitate to come back to this place because their foods and services are indeed excellent! They also provide free Wi-Fi so they customers can share the fun experience they're gonna get.

Some of the foods I would recommend are their Philly Cheese Steak Pizza, Uncle's Five Cheese Pizza, Blackened Chicken Alfredo, and Twice-Baked Potato. They actually also serve desserts, drinks, and breakfast. I'm looking forward to try it out some time.

Torch is located in Greenhills, San Juan -- and isn't very far from the shopping vicinity. So it will just be perfect to plan your whole day in Greenhills. Explore, eat, shop. :)

I've been getting recommendations from my colleagues about this restaurant so I finally decided to give it a try. I came along with two friends for dinner. It's our first time and good thing is that we didn't have a hard time finding this place as it is just situated in the heart of Kapitolyo where many restaurants serve. This restaurant also has ample parking slots. Cool.

Upon entering Ramen Cool, I was impressed with its ambiance -- neat looking and relaxing. I always thought that aside from serving good food, a restaurant has to have good interiors to set a good mood. Their staff were also accommodating.

Now on their food. We ordered ramen, chicken yakitori, tofu special, beef mixed rice, and gyoza. We requested for their hot service tea above any other drink. Btw, they serve both hot and cold teas.

Their ramen didn't meet my expectations. Its noodles were a bit dry and the soup was just warm when served. I'd prefer hot ramen with chewy noodles. The chicken yakitori was also kinda dry, even though it came with a savory sauce, the flavor just wasn't there. I'd say that their tofu special is indeed "special" since this is my first time to taste tofu cooked in sweet chili sauce -- I liked how the softness and freshness of the tofu was preserved after being deep fried then mixed with sweet chili sauce. Rice is present in most of my meals so obviously I'm a rice lover. For me, the beef mixed rice was cooked well enough that I can just eat it without having to order anything else. Lastly, gyoza was also okay but not to the point that I'll order it again if I revisit here next time.

Overall, their food was just okay. Their service tea is more like it.

Who would have thought that this ordinary looking apartment along a serene street in Guadalupe Viejo turns out to be a Chinese restaurant? If one sees it from the outside, there’s no sign or whatsoever that gives a hint that it’s a house transformed into a restaurant. Seems unbelievable for first timers, but once you get to taste their food—ahh. You’ll certainly hop out this place with a happy tummy. Next thing you’ll say will be, “Imma come back!” Try it out one of these days, and don’t forget to tag friends along!

Ambiance  ** (2 stars)
Seems like they didn't put much attention on the design of this restaurant. “Feels like home,” these were the words that would describe my impression on this place. Once you get inside you’ll notice that the interiors were so simple. Wooden chairs and tables are arranged neatly. Just a note for those who’ll bring a car, you may park across the restaurant or anywhere along Camia street. Be mindful of peak hours as parking spaces might become hard to find—first come, first served.

Service **** (4 stars)
All the servers in You Jie Xiao Chao are females. Each customer is greeted with a smile by these ladies and are very attentive to anybody’s needs. I noticed that they all wore the same red shirts—perhaps it’s their uniform, and at the same time, as we all know, that for the Chinese, the color red symbolizes happiness. So even in their way of serving their customers, they want to make them feel warmly welcomed. Our food was served shortly after we ordered—just in time our stomachs grumbled.

Food ***** (5 stars)
The food we ordered were the typical Chinese dishes—Yang Zhou Fried Rice, Fried Kang Kong, Pork w/ Sour Bean, Pork w/ Tofu. They have this so called Steamed Fish Head, said to be their specialty dish, which we’ve also ordered. Food tastes great! Once you start eating, added the house-like ambiance, you’ll most probably comment that it tastes like home-cooked. There wasn’t one dish among all that we’ve ordered that I didn’t like.

Price for value *** (3 stars)
Their menu shows a compilation of their specialty dishes arranged similarly to a photo album. As I browsed through it, each and every picture has a price label in it. Price seems reasonable. Good price for great food.

For my overall experience, I’m giving this restaurant **** (4 stars). J
